Tryout Prep Session

The tryout prep sessions below are nearly at capacity.  In order to keep an appropriate coach to player ratio we had to close  the general registration.

If you are still interested in getting your player registered please email Sheila Mountjoy at  Registrations can be added one at a time as they come in.

These sessions are intended for players who want to experience a MOCK TRYOUT.  The players will be asked to perform most of the same drills that the coaches will conduct on Tryout Day.  This session format will include: 1) court movement (speed & agility) testing;      2) vertical testing; 3) fundamental skill evaluations (technique).   Players will also be asked to play in "real game" drills that will allow them to showcase their abilities and demonstrate their court sense.  Their prospective future coaches will be running the drills so both the players and the coaches will become familiar with each other.   Our hope in offering these sessions is to help players reduce the anxiety of the process and allow players to show their best abilities on the upcoming tryout day.

Club Legacy Volleyball Academy Mission Statement

Through the Club Legacy experience we hope you will become a better player, a better teammate; a better person who loves the journey along the way.  Players will improve their overall volleyball skills, knowledge of the game & development of court PRESENCE, learn about different offensive and defensive systems, have the opportunity to grow in confidence & leadership skills.

As a part of our club costs the players will receive additional training options with targeted instruction from coaching specialists in the areas of setting, hitting & defense & positional movement. Our goal is to work this specialty training in with regular practice schedules.

As a part of the club program, every athlete will have two options for specialized training to facilitate game agility, foot speed & increased vertical skills.

One of our club goals is for all players to make new friends that share a common interest & have the opportunity to travel and compete with clubs from coast to coast.

Thank you for being a part of Club Legacy VBA and we wish you a great season!
